Nilai, 2nd November 2017 – Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) has just signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to strengthen the collaboration and develop more about MizanHome design. UTM’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Datuk Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail came on behalf of UTM for this MoA event.
USIM also signed Memorandum of Understanding with eight industry partners which also gave a contribution by sponsoring MizanHome team. Among eight industry partners that partnering with USIM are MAG Builders Sdn Bhd, Ainul Rahman Architect, Inovar Resources Sdn Bhd, Neapoli Sdn Bhd, Shera Public Company Limited, United Seasons Sdn Bhd, Creative Environments and Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara, Sri Gading.
“The project which costs approximately RM 600 000 will be the sole representative for Malaysia to the Final Solar Decathlon Middle East (SDME) competition in Dubai in November next year”, said Prof Dato’ Dr Musa Bin Ahmad, Vice Chancellor of University Sains Islam Malaysia.
“So far USIM preparations for the competition are 50 percent and we look forward to promoting Malaysia. The cooperation between USIM and UTM in terms of architectural and design expertise while UTM will help provide solar engineering experts to strengthen the function of Mizan House,” he added.
The MizanHome team were thankful for UTM and the industry partners for helping to make this a reality this November 2018. As the sole representative from Malaysia, MizanHome team will try to do their best for achieving their goals for the Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018.
